1. The registration fee of 400RMB is non-refundable.
2. Fees must be paid in full before a student can attend school.
3. Fees may be paid by the year or half year. Any late payment of fees will incur a 5% surcharge.
4. Yearly payments are fixed for a year, payments made half yearly are subject to increases approved by the Board of Directors.
Refunds
1. If a student cancels his/her enrolment less than 28 days before commencement, no refund for the half year will be given. Please note: if we do not receive notice of your arrival 28 days in advance there may not be a vacancy for your child.
2. If HMEC is unable to deliver the course for which the student has enrolled, all prepaid fees will be refunded in full.
3. If a student is absent for any period, or withdraws from the school during a half year, a refund of fees for the portion they do not attend will not be given. If a full year's fees have been paid a refund will be given for the other half year.
4. Fees refunded (except in instances described in point 6.) will be subjected to a 10% surcharge to cover cost of government tax, stamp duty and administration charges.
5. A refund of fees will be paid to the person or company who originally paid the fees in the currency in which it was paid and to the country from which it was paid.
6. Tuition fees are not transferable to other students.
7. All information regarding a student's medical and/or academic circumstances that may affect their performance in the school must be declared as additional charges for 'special care' may be applicable.
Company Sponsored Students
1. Company sponsored students will only be issued with a taxation receipt once payment is received in full.
2. A position will not be granted to a company-sponsored student until an agreement to pay fees is received in writing from a company representative authorised to make such an agreement.
3. A refund of fees for a company-sponsored student will be made to the payer only
